Plugs are of the European variety with two round prongs. Take your adapter with you if you intend to take any electrical appliances with you.

Electricity in Turkey:

• Is supplied at 220 volts, 50 cycles, as in Europe.

• Plugs are European round/ 2-prong plug.

Food  Water & Other Drinks

Although it is sad that tap water was safe to drink in all cities, since it has been chlorinated I suggest you bottled water because of the compounds in tap water may be different in each country.

No restriction on selling or drinking of alcohol.

WARNINGS:

• Drink only mineral water or bottled water.

• Do not doubt about water supplied on food, because the water is boiled.

• Just avoid drinking of alcohol during the month RAMADAN

• in small places because a lot of Turkish people are in fast.
