Taxis can be found in the streets in big cities and are recognizable by their bright yellow color in Turkey. It is also possible to call from the taxi stations. The fare shown on the taximeter reads according to the distance traveled. From midnight (24:00) to morning (06:00) it will cost 50% more than the daytime fare. In general most taxis do not give receipts. If you need a receipt, please ask the driver if he can give you one before you get on the taxi. |
